My Child Is Silent… Doesn’t Answer Me

Welcome to my heart and home

Sometimes we try to open conversations with our children… we call them, ask them questions, and

sit with them for long periods. Yet, they don’t respond.

A child may not always be silent because they don’t want to answer. Sometimes they simply don’t

know how to express themselves in words.

They may not find the right words, or they may not even realize how to share what’s inside. But that

doesn’t mean they have nothing to say.

Every child has their own way of expression: maybe through play, drawing, or even just sitting

quietly beside you. Silence can also be communication.

Ask yourself: When was the last time you really listened to your child without interrupting, judging,

or rushing them?

A child first needs to feel seen and heard before they can talk. Even if it’s not through words, give

them space and safety to express themselves.

It may take time, but your presence matters more than the result.

So, when was the last time your child felt truly heard?

Share your experience in the comments your story might inspire another mother.
